The Friends of Ruby Home is a custom-built transitional house for LGBTQI2S youth in the greater Toronto area. Founded by Egale Canada, before Friends of Ruby became an independent charity, the facility was brought to life with the support of the Daniels Corporation and designed by Yabu Pushelberg.

A community kitchen designed with accessibility in mind helps patients regain independance. Located in the newly design Casey House addition in downtown toronto, architect Siamak Hariri of HPA in collaboration with AyA Kitchens designed the open kitchen space for this HIV/AIDS Hospital.

After reading an article about the Campbell family making a donation towards building a much needed palliative care facility in Collingwood and having lost both of his parents to cancer, Dean Mills of Premier Kitchens, wanted to get involved with the project and give back to a comminity that has supported him throughout the years.

Every year the Princess Margaret Lottery gives out many prizes, the big ticket items are the grand prize show homes. The million dollar homes are fully loaded, designed by the best in the industry and are spectacular. This particular year one of the show homes featured AyA cabinetry by our Collingwood dealer, Premier Kitchens.

Dinner at Our House is a meal program created for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House who have a child with conditions requiring them to be hospitalized. Out of town families live at the house allowing them to be close to their hospitalized child and to have the conveniences of a home away from home at a nominal fee. No Family is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

AyA Kitchens and Baths had the pleasure of working with Karen Kirk, Home and Decor Editor for Canadian Living on a very special project that is close to Karen's heart, "The Room that Hope Built." Karen's niece, Rebecca Borg, passed away from acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) in 2002. Part of Rebecca's legacy was the vision of the transformation of the once very sterile, cold patient's lounge.
