Christopher DeBoer of Sybrandt Creative, an interior design firm that specializes in residential renovations and designs tailored to the clients needs by focussing on functional and beautifully detailed spaces. A Proficiency in space planning and finish selection combined with a strong background in AutoCAD and 3D modeling allows us to thoughtfully plan and manage projects of any scale. Layering patterns and textures with a mix of custom and found vintage objects, and pulling from a global design perspective, each space reflects the client's own personality.

When the clients were deciding on a cabinet manufacturer, flexibility, selection and price point were the deciding factors. Having worked together on previous projects with great success. Christopher recommended AyA Kitchens. Constrasting AyA's chic Manhattan Natural Walnut with painted Oyster, the kitchen has minimal modern aesthetic but still feels warm and inviting. The kitchen was transformed from dark and cramped to an open space filled with natural light.

The crown jewel and focal point of the space is the glorious backsplash and range hood. At first the clients were a little hesitant on a vivid graphic backsplash but Christopher applied a little encouragement and in the end it turned out beautifully.
